Hi, all. Right now, my family and I use Talx on our nokia 6600s. We're thinking of switching to a new phone and maybe a new speech program. The phone we want is called a T-mobile Dash, and we want to use Mobile speak with it. We've never tried mobiel speak before and we want to know how well it works and how people like it and stuff like that. Thanks for any info you could give me. :):)
I have heard quite a bit about mobile speak, and I have heard it is really awesome. I have a moto q, which means I have the option to use mobile speak pocket. or smart Hal. If I were you, I would check in to both of these with great detail, because smart hal is cheaper, but mobile speak has been compared to the pac mate's firmware and has won.
I've used Mobile Speak for a month now after Talks, they are very similar and I like Mobile Speak a lot, + I prefer t Mobile to Cingular.
I have very good experience with Mobile Speak so far, no crashes at all (my Talks crashed a few times), it even reads emails fairly well on my Nokia phone. I don't think the U.S. has the exactly model I got though.
cheers

I am using Mobilespeak Smartphone with the Motorola Q (I have Verizon Wireless). I absolutely love it. I can't say how it compares with Talks, as I never used Talks, but having an accessible cell phone is great. I believe the t-mobile dash is similar to the moto Q in a few ways, so from that standpoint, the phone is very to use and mobile speak itself is very user friendly.
I have Mobile speak pocket on the HTC TyTN with cingular and it's excellent. The best thing about it is that so far all updates have been free and signifigant. It's the best value in software I have ever purchased. Try the 30 day demo. It's fully functioning and plenty of time to see how it works. I have used text messaging, internet surfing, e-mail sending and receiveing and oh yes, that rather under rated function makeing and receiving actual phone calls.
LOL. Thanks, for the info, guys. Any more is welcome, but now I have a god report about it mostly...thanks again! Tschau!
I use the Q as well with Mobile Speak Smartphone. Smart Hal, and MSS are actually the same price, but MSS is far more stable and responsive.
